About Us

Board of Directors

President – Barry Bradley

I was a director with the Morinville & District Ag. Society from 1996 until 2002 and then re-joined again after volunteering for the 1st Bull-A-Rama in 2003. I was then elected as a director from 2003 until 2005 when I was elected President where I have continued since that time.

The majority of my experience lies within the Town of Morinville, however I have been a Municipal Employee for over 32.5 years – the majority of which ( 22.5 years) was spent in management with the Town of Morinville. My wife and I have been residents of Cardiff for over 29 years and raised our 3 children in the area.

As a volunteer in this area, I have coached minor hockey and softball in Morinville, I was a member of the Morinville Trail Committee as well as the Morinville Light Up The Park Committee and I was the Chairperson of the Morinville Beautification Committee. My time spent here in Morinville has provided me the ability to see the area grow and flourish into an outstanding community and see many of the positive changes that continue to happen!

I look forward to continuing to work and develop many community activities that will continue to make Morinville a great place to live and am hoping to work with others who share the same common goal on making our community great!

Vice President – Romeo Ethier

First Vice President – Gordon Fuhr

Treasurer – Monica Bradley

I have been an active member of the Morinville & District Ag. Society since 2003 as well as the society’s Treasurer since that time. Since my commencement in this position, I have seen the Morinville & District Ag. Society’s direction becomes that of bringing community pride back into Morinville and our District.

Having grown up the majority of my life in this area, I have seen many positive changes and programs developed to making our community a great one to live in! The pride and love of our small town has grown over the years and I am proud to call Morinville home.

My goal over my time with the Ag. Society is to continue to bring community events to our area for both the youth as well as the young at heart. I look forward to making strong partnerships with local organizations to help develop their programs as well as our own. I will continue to strive to bring family oriented activities to the area and keep trying to develop programs and events that suit individuals of all ages.

We welcome any suggestions or ideas that you may have for future ideas and hope to see many of you out at our events to participate in the fun!

Secretary – Melonie Dizwenka

Melonie originally began with the the Morinville & District Ag. Society in 2005 as the Youth Council Coordinator.  Along with her youth group at that time (some of our very first volunteers), they assisted with the running of events including the kiddy corral and Tearin’ Up The Turf.

Today, Melonie assists our organziation in the Secretary role; a role she has maintained for 3 years.  She is a very dedicated and passionate individual who continually helps to keep our spirits up and our tasks in order.

Melonie is very active in our community and assists with many local organzations.  Her love of community and dedication to making our comminity a great place to live is evident in her role in and around Morinville.
